We actively contribute to the advancement of Malaysia’s waste industry through strategic collaborations and close partnerships with local and international industry partners. It is a majority-owned investee company of Khazanah Nasional and SK Ecoplant as a shareholding partner, to deliver innovative environmental solutions and sustainable value for the country.
As a modern resource company, Cenviro, through its subsidiary Kualiti Alam Sdn. Bhd., proudly owns and operates Malaysia’s first integrated Waste Management Centre (CWMC) in Negeri Sembilan, operational since 1998. CWMC is licensed to handle a comprehensive range of waste categories—76 out of the 77 scheduled wastes listed under the Environment Quality (Scheduled Wastes) Regulation 2005. The license encompasses activities from collection and treatment to recycling, recovery, and final disposal.
Cenviro is also involved in integrated solid waste management through its subsidiary company, E-Idaman Sdn. Bhd. Furthermore, the company extends its footprint in electronic waste management through its associate stake in Shan Poornam Sdn. Bhd. Our commitment to advancing environmental sustainability is exemplified through ongoing initiatives, such as Scheduled Waste to Energy, marking Malaysia’s first successfully operating scheduled waste-to-energy plant, the innovative Vertical Secured Landfill methodology enhances air space utilization in existing landfills and Recycle for Life program not only contributes to waste reduction but also rewards participants with cash incentives.
